For those aspiring to secure a government teaching position in Rajasthan, there is great news. The state has announced a significant recruitment drive for school teachers. Recently, the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) in Jaipur has released over 7,000 vacancies for teachers across grades 1 to 5 and grades 6 to 8.


Application Details

The official advertisement for the REET mains recruitment has been published on the official website rssb.rajasthan.gov.in. Online applications commenced today, November 7, and interested candidates can submit their applications until December 6, 2025. The vacancies include positions for primary school teachers in both the Sanskrit and General Departments, while the upper primary vacancies are available for subjects such as Sanskrit, Hindi, English, Social Science, Mathematics, and Science.


Educational Qualifications Required

Candidates wishing to apply for the primary school teacher positions (grades 1 to 5) must have a minimum of 50% marks in higher secondary education or its equivalent, along with a two-year diploma in elementary education. For Sanskrit teachers, a minimum of 50% marks in Senior Secondary and a traditional Sanskrit examination, along with a two-year diploma in elementary education, is required.


High primary teachers for grades 6 to 8 in Sanskrit must possess a Shastri degree and a two-year diploma in elementary education. Additionally, passing the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) is mandatory. For subjects like Social Studies, English, Mathematics-Science, and Hindi, candidates should have a graduation degree along with a two-year diploma or a B.Ed./B.L.Ed./B.Sc.Ed./M.Ed.

- First, visit rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in or the SSO portal to complete the OTR process.


- Use your email ID and mobile number for registration.


- After completing the One-Time Registration, log in using your registration number and password.


- Fill in all the required information.


- Upload scanned copies of your photo and signature in the specified sizes.


- Finally, pay the application fee, submit the form, and print a copy for your records.
