RRB NTPC Recruitment 2026: Great news for job seekers aiming for government positions! The Indian Railways has announced openings for 3,548 vacancies as part of the NTPC Graduate Recruitment 2026 initiative. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released Centralized Employment Notification No. 06/2026. The online application process commenced on October 8, 2026, and interested candidates can submit their applications until 11:59 PM on November 6, 2026.


Available Positions

**Recruitment for Four Types of Posts**
This recruitment drive encompasses four distinct categories:



  • Goods Train Manager: 2,750 positions


  • Senior Clerk-cum-Typist: 371 positions


  • Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist: 300 positions


  • Chief Commercial-cum-Ticket Supervisor: 127 positions



Salary Structure

**What is the Salary?**
The salary details are as follows:



  • Chief Commercial-cum-Ticket Supervisor: Starting salary of ₹35,400 per month under Pay Level-6.


  • Goods Train Manager, Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist, and Senior Clerk-cum-Typist: Starting salary of ₹29,200 per month under Pay Level-5.


  • Additional allowances will be provided as per the regulations.



Eligibility Criteria

**Eligibility and Age Limit**
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. The age limit is set between 18 to 33 years, calculated as of January 1, 2027. Age relaxation will be granted to candidates from eligible reserved categories as per the rules.


Selection Process

**How Will Selection Take Place?**
The selection will involve a first-stage Computer-Based Test (CBT), followed by a second-stage CBT, document verification, and a medical examination. The selection will be based on merit and eligibility criteria. Provisions for scribe facilities and additional time will be available for eligible candidates with disabilities, in accordance with the rules.


Typing Test Guidelines

What are the rules regarding the typing test?
As per the notification, a computer-based typing skill test will not be conducted for the Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist and Senior Clerk-cum-Typist positions. However, candidates are expected to have basic computer and typing knowledge, which will be assessed after joining the service.
