The official announcement is expected to be made in the third week of January, with around 22,000 candidates anticipated to be selected for various roles across different railway zones nationwide.


Details on Recruitment for Level-1 Positions

The RRB will soon unveil a recruitment notification for Level-1 roles, which may encompass positions like Track Maintainer, Helper, and other Group-D related jobs. Approximately 22,000 vacancies are projected to be filled, with the Railway Board actively gathering vacancy details from all zones, including the Ajmer division.


Bhopal RRB Takes Charge as Nodal Agency

This time, the Railway Recruitment Board in Bhopal will serve as the nodal agency overseeing the Level-1 recruitment process. This means that the Bhopal board will coordinate and monitor the entire recruitment procedure. Previously, recruitment advertisements for various positions, including NTPC, were released in 2025, which included an announcement for 32,438 Level-1 posts, with the examination process still ongoing.

The last recruitment for Level-1 positions took place in 2024, with the advertisement published in January 2025. Online applications were accepted from January 23 to February 22, 2025, with an age limit set between 18 to 36 years. It is expected that the age criteria will remain largely unchanged this time, although final confirmation will be provided upon the release of the official notification.
