MP Police Recruitment 2026: An exciting opportunity awaits those looking to join the Madhya Pradesh Police force. The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has announced a recruitment drive for 655 positions, including Subedar (Stenographer) and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI - Ministerial) within the Police Headquarters and the Home (Police) Department. This recruitment includes 135 openings for Subedar and 520 for Assistant Sub-Inspector. Interested individuals can submit their applications online starting from September 24.


Eligibility Criteria and Age Requirements

**Educational Qualification:** Applicants must have completed their 12th grade from a recognized educational institution. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate specific computer skills, including CPCT Hindi typing, relevant to the position. For the Subedar (Steno) role, passing a Hindi shorthand test at a speed of 100 words per minute is essential.

**Age Limit:** The upper age limit for applicants is capped at 33 years. However, female candidates from Madhya Pradesh, along with those from SC, ST, and OBC categories, are eligible for a five-year age relaxation, allowing them to apply until the age of 38, in line with government regulations.


Selection Process and Examination Schedule

Candidates will undergo a selection process that includes a written examination (CBT), document verification, a skill test (typing/stenography), and a medical examination. The initial phase of the written examination is scheduled to begin on November 3, 2026, with two shifts: the first from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the second from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.


Application Fees and Salary Structure

**Application Fee**
The application fee for candidates in the Unreserved (General) category is ₹500 (excluding portal charges). For SC, ST, OBC, and EWS candidates from Madhya Pradesh, the fee is reduced to ₹250.

**Salary Details**
Selected candidates for the Subedar position will earn a monthly salary ranging from ₹36,200 to ₹1,14,800 (Level-9), while those appointed as Assistant Sub-Inspector will receive a monthly salary between ₹19,500 and ₹62,000 (Level-4).
