Rajasthan Forest Guard Recruitment Notification Released



A remarkable opportunity has emerged for individuals who have completed their 12th grade. The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has announced a recruitment drive for the position of Forest Guard (Rajasthan Vanpal Bharti 2026). The online application process is currently open and will remain available until February 4, 2026. Interested candidates can submit their applications through the official website or the SSO portal.


Eligibility Criteria


To be eligible for this recruitment, applicants must have successfully completed the Common Eligibility Test (Senior Secondary Level). Additionally, candidates should have passed the Senior Secondary (10+2) examination from the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer, or the Central Board of Secondary Education, or an equivalent recognized examination. Those awaiting their final year results are also encouraged to apply. The age requirement stipulates that candidates must be at least 18 years old and not exceed 40 years. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates from reserved categories.


Physical Standards


For male applicants, a minimum height of 163 cm and a chest measurement of 84 cm (normal) with a 5 cm expansion is required. Female candidates must have a minimum height of 150 cm and a chest circumference of 79 cm with a 5 cm expansion. Relaxations are available for candidates from reserved categories.


How to Apply


Candidates can apply by clicking the "Apply Online" link found in the recruitment advertisement on the RSSB online portal or by logging into the SSO portal and selecting the Recruitment Portal under Citizen Apps G2C. A One-Time Registration (OTR) must be completed before filling out the application form.


Application Fees


Applicants from the General, Other Backward Classes, and Extremely Backward Classes (Creamy Layer) are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 600. Candidates from Rajasthan belonging to OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS/SC/ST/PwD categories will need to pay Rs. 400. The fee can be paid online.
