Recently, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath introduced new regulations to provide age limit relaxations for candidates. The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released a new notice regarding age limits, detailing category-wise age requirements based on birth dates. Only candidates whose birth dates meet the eligibility criteria can apply for these positions.

Age Relaxation and Eligibility Criteria

The state government has announced a three-year age relaxation for candidates applying to the UP Police. As a result, male candidates under 25 years of age will now be eligible to apply. Educational Qualifications for UP Police Recruitment

Interested applicants must have completed their 12th grade or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the government from any accredited board. Candidates currently taking or about to take the intermediate examination are not eligible to apply. For male candidates from General/OBC and SC categories, a minimum height of 168 cm is required, while ST candidates must be at least 160 cm tall. Female candidates should have a minimum height of 152 cm, and ST women must be at least 147 cm tall. The last date for applications for this recruitment is January 30, 2026.
