UP Group C Recruitment 2025: Candidates who have successfully cleared the UP PET recruitment exam have reason to celebrate. A significant number of job openings are set to be announced for Group C positions within the District Collectorate and Divisional Commissioner Offices in Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has given its approval for this recruitment drive. Specifically, there will be 378 Junior Assistant positions available in the Divisional Commissioner Offices, along with 2430 Junior Assistant roles approved at the district level, of which 1623 are currently unfilled.


Upcoming Examination and Vacancies

The Commission has already conducted a written examination for 1257 posts. A proposal has now been submitted for filling 366 vacant positions from the remaining seats, with notifications expected to be released soon. This recruitment is particularly advantageous for those who have taken the PET exam, as vacancies will be announced following the PET results.


Details of the PET Exam:


The UP PET (PET Result 2025) was conducted in two shifts on September 6th and 7th. The first shift ran from 10 AM to 12 PM, while the second shift took place from 3 PM to 5 PM. This year, approximately 25.32 lakh candidates registered for the PET. Notably, candidates who pass the PET will now receive a valid certificate for three years, providing them with greater flexibility compared to the previous one-year validity.


Job Opportunities with PET Score

The UPSSSC has introduced a two-tier examination system for Group C recruitment based on the PET score. Candidates applying for various Group C positions will be shortlisted for the main examination based on their PET results.
