Eligibility Criteria

Physical Standards Required
Physical fitness is crucial for the Forest Guard role. The minimum height requirement for male candidates is 163 cm with a chest measurement of 84 cm (with a 5 cm expansion). Female candidates must have a minimum height of 150 cm. Running ability is also assessed; male candidates must complete a 25 km run in 4 hours, while female candidates must finish a 16 km run in the same time frame.
Application Fee Structure
The application fee is set at Rs 100 for candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories. However, SC, ST, PH, and female candidates are exempt from paying any fees. Payments can be made online using debit cards, credit cards, or internet banking.
Selection Process Overview
Candidates will be selected based on a written examination consisting of objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The exam will feature 200 questions to be completed within two hours. Each question carries one mark, with a penalty of 0.25 marks for incorrect answers.
