UPCISB is looking to fill a total of 116 positions. The majority of these openings—57—are for the role of Assistant/Cashier (Banking Assistant/Clerical Staff). Additionally, there are 45 vacancies for Junior Managers, 7 for Managers, 5 for Assistant Engineers (Civil), and 2 for Assistant/Typists.


Eligibility Criteria
UPCISB has set specific eligibility requirements for each position. Candidates aged between 21 and 40 years as of January 1, 2026, can apply. Here are the educational qualifications needed for each role:



  • Manager and Junior Manager: Candidates must be Commerce graduates with at least 55% marks. Those with degrees in B.E., B.Tech., BCA, MCA, BBA, or MBA are also eligible. For Junior Managers, a 'O' Level Computer Certificate is required.

  • Assistant/Cashier and Assistant Typist: Applicants should be graduates in any discipline with a minimum of 55% marks and possess a CCC (Course on Computer Concepts) Certificate. For the Assistant Typist role, candidates must also demonstrate a typing speed of 30–40 words per minute in both Hindi and English.

  • Assistant Engineer: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory for this position.


Selection Process and Salary Structure:
The recruitment process will occur in two stages. Initially, a preliminary examination will be conducted, followed by a main examination for those who qualify. A merit list will be created based on the examination results. Salaries for the positions range from ₹15,000 to ₹88,000 per month, depending on the role.
