Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Requirements
For the Sub Inspector (Confidential) role, candidates must possess a graduation degree from a recognized university. Additionally, they must demonstrate proficiency in Hindi typing (25 words per minute), English typing (30 words per minute), Hindi shorthand (80 words per minute), and pass the O Level computer examination from NIELIT (DOEACC) as of May 5, 2022. For the Assistant Sub Inspector (Clerk) position, a graduation degree and Hindi typing skills are required, along with an O Level certificate. The Assistant Sub Inspector (Accounts) role necessitates a graduation in Commerce or a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting/equivalent, Hindi typing at 15 words per minute, and an O Level certificate.

The selection will consist of an offline written examination, document verification, physical standards test, computer typing test, shorthand test (if applicable), and a medical examination. The written test will include:

  • 50 questions on General Information/Current Affairs (100 marks)

  • 50 questions on Numerical and Mental Ability Test/Mental Aptitude Test (100 marks)
