Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for Customs Department Jobs:
To qualify for the Tradesman role, candidates must possess an ITI certificate in one of the following trades: Mechanic, Diesel, Fitter, Turner, Welder, Electrician, Instrument, or Carpentry. Additionally, a 10th-grade or equivalent qualification is necessary, along with two years of relevant experience in an engineering, automobile, or ship repair organization.
For the Seaman and Greaser positions, candidates need a 10th-grade qualification and three years of relevant experience. The Senior Storekeeper role requires a 10th-grade pass with eight years of storekeeping experience. Detailed eligibility criteria can be found in the recruitment notification.
Age Limit and Salary
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 25 to 30 years old, depending on the position.
Salary: Selected individuals will earn a monthly salary ranging from ₹19,900 to ₹92,300, in accordance with the 7th CPC.
Selection Process: The selection will involve a written examination, a physical efficiency test (PET), and a medical fitness assessment.
