IB Vacancy 2025: Great news for young individuals seeking government employment after completing their 10th grade! The Intelligence Bureau (IB), under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), has announced openings for the position of Security Assistant (Motor Transport). The application window is now open, and interested candidates can submit their applications by visiting mha.gov.in until 12 midnight on September 28. The application process commenced on September 6.
The IB is looking to fill a total of 455 Security Assistant (Motor Transport) positions. This recruitment aims to enhance the operational mobility of the agency's regional units nationwide. Applications must be submitted online, and all positions are located in various Subsidiary Intelligence Bureaus (SIB) across different states and union territories.
Eligibility Criteria for IB Security Assistant MT Recruitment 2025:
Applicants must have completed their 10th grade from a recognized board. Additionally, candidates should possess a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) license and have at least one year of driving experience post-licensure. The age limit for applicants is set between 18 and 27 years as of September 28, 2025. The Central Government provides age relaxation for candidates belonging to reserved categories, including Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes.

Applicants are required to pay an application fee of Rs 100 along with a processing fee of Rs 550. Payments can be made via debit/credit card, net banking, UPI, or challan.
Selection Process for IB Security Assistant Recruitment 2025:
The selection will involve Tier 1 and Tier 2 examinations, followed by document verification and a medical examination. The Tier-I exam will include questions on general awareness and reasoning. Candidates who pass this stage will proceed to the Tier 2 exam. Successful candidates will be appointed at Level-3 Pay Matrix (Rs 21,700 – 69,100), along with Central Government allowances such as dearness allowance, house rent allowance, and transport allowance. Additional benefits include medical facilities, pension under the National Pension System (NPS), and leave entitlements.
