This recruitment will utilize scores from the GATE 2025 examination. About Coal India Limited

Coal India Limited, a 'Maharatna' Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Coal, Government of India, is recognized as the largest coal producer globally. According to the notification, candidates who are selected will be appointed to the E-1 grade. During their training, the initial basic salary will be ₹60,000 per month, with a full pay scale ranging from ₹60,000 to ₹1,80,000.


Educational Requirements

**Educational Qualifications**


Applicants must possess a full-time degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized institution. A minimum of 60% marks is required for candidates in the General and OBC categories, while SC/ST candidates need at least 55%. Additionally, candidates must have a valid GATE-2025 score in Mining Engineering (Paper Code: MN). Scores from other years will not be accepted.


If the degree is graded in CGPA, GPA, or CPI, candidates must provide a conversion certificate to convert their score into a percentage when applying. The maximum age limit is set at 30 years for General and EWS candidates, with age relaxation available for those in reserved categories as per government rules.
