Internship Details

DRDO, under the Ministry of Defence, is currently accepting applications for a six-month paid internship at its Solid State Physics Laboratory (SSPL) located in Delhi. Interns will collaborate closely with DRDO scientists.

This internship is tailored for students pursuing degrees in science and engineering. Eligible candidates include those enrolled in BE/B.Tech, MSc, or M.Tech programs.


Students from various fields such as Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Quantum Technology, Laser Optics, Semiconductor Devices, IT, and Computer Science (CSE) are also welcome to apply.


Stipend and Duration

Stipend and Internship Duration:
A total of 52 interns will be chosen for this program. The internship lasts between 4 weeks and 6 months, with a stipend of Rs. 30,000 for those who complete the full duration.


This translates to approximately Rs. 5,000 per month, providing students with essential financial support while gaining invaluable research experience.
