DRDO LRDE Internship Program 2026



Overview: The Electronics and Radar Development Establishment (LRDE) in Bengaluru, part of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), has opened applications for internship positions. This program is designed for engineering and science students to participate in innovative Research and Development (R&D) projects within the defense sector.

Internship Positions Available

Total Positions: 75 internships are available, distributed as follows:


1. Electronics & Communication: 35 positions


2. Computer Science: 20 positions


3. Mechanical Engineering: 10 positions


4. Electrical Engineering: 8 positions


5. Civil Engineering: 2 positions


Internship Details

Duration and Stipend:


The internship lasts for six months, during which interns will receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000. The total stipend of ₹30,000 will be paid in two installments: the first after three months and the second upon completion of the internship.


Eligibility Criteria

Who Can Apply?


1. Applicants must be Indian citizens.


2. Final-year BE/BTech students who have completed their sixth-semester exams are eligible.


3. Final-year ME/MTech and MSc students who have completed their second-semester exams can also apply.


4. A minimum of 70% marks or equivalent grade is required at the time of application.
