Railway Recruitment Board Announces 3,548 Graduate-Level Vacancies



Great news for graduates looking for job opportunities in the Railways! The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has revealed plans to fill 3,548 graduate-level positions. Individuals with a bachelor's degree interested in government employment can submit their applications for the RRB NTPC Graduate Recruitment 2026 via the official RRB portal.


The application window will close on November 6, 2026. Additionally, candidates will have the opportunity to make corrections to their applications from November 8 to November 18.


Breakdown of Available Positions

This recruitment initiative aims to fill a total of 3,548 positions, which include:


1. Chief Commercial-cum-Ticket Supervisor: 127 posts


2. Goods Train Manager: 2,750 posts


3. Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist: 300 posts


4. Senior Clerk-cum-Typist: 371 posts


Age Criteria for Applicants

Candidates' ages will be assessed as of January 1, 2027. The age limit for applicants is set between 18 and 33 years. Relaxations in age are available for specific groups: SC and ST candidates receive a 5-year extension, OBC candidates get a 3-year extension, and candidates with disabilities (PwD) are granted a 10-year extension.


Salary Information

Selected candidates for the Chief Commercial-cum-Ticket Supervisor role will earn a monthly salary of ₹35,400. Those appointed as Goods Train Manager, Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist, and Senior Clerk-cum-Typist will receive ₹29,200 per month.


Selection Procedure

The selection of candidates will be based on a written examination. The exam will consist of questions totaling 100 marks, covering General Awareness, Mathematics, and Reasoning. Candidates will have 90 minutes to complete the exam, and there will be a negative marking scheme where one-third of a mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
