The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (CHSL) for 2026, which will facilitate the recruitment for numerous administrative roles nationwide.

The SSC has officially released the notification for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination for 2026. This examination aims to fill a total of 2,536 vacancies, including positions such as Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Data Entry Operator (DEO), across various Central Government ministries, offices, constitutional bodies, and tribunals.

Exam Format

Exam Pattern


The SSC CHSL 2026 will be conducted as a computer-based test in two phases: Tier-I and Tier-II. The Tier-I exam will feature objective-type multiple-choice questions covering General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and the English Language, comprising a total of 100 questions (25 from each subject). Candidates will have 60 minutes to complete the exam, which is worth a total of 200 marks.
