Great Opportunities for Aspiring Engineers: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has unveiled paid internship and apprenticeship programs for the financial year 2026-27. These positions are available at two prominent institutes: the Defence Scientific Information and Documentation Centre (DESIDOC) in Delhi and the Armament Research and Development Establishment (ARDE) in Pune.

One-Year Apprenticeship at DESIDOC, Delhi

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have completed their degrees or diplomas in 2024 or 2025. Postgraduate applicants and those with over one year of work experience are not eligible.
Required Qualifications:
Library and Information Science: A bachelor's degree along with a degree in Library and Information Science is essential.
Computer Science: BE in Computer Science or a 3-year diploma is required.
Photography/Videography: A 3-year diploma or ITI certificate is necessary.
Age Limit:
Candidates should not exceed 28 years of age. A relaxation of 5 years is available for SC/ST candidates, and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Eligibility for Internship:

Stipend Details:
Selected interns will receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000, paid in two installments of ₹15,000 each, contingent on completing at least 15 working days per month.
