Exam Dates


The recruitment exams for SSC Stenographer and Hindi Translator will be conducted in a Computer-Based Examination (CBE) format. The Combined Hindi Translators Examination, 2026 (Paper-I/CBE) is set for September 8, 2026. Meanwhile, the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Examination will take place from September 9 to September 12, 2026.

The SSC is expected to issue the exam city slips around 10 days before the exam date, allowing candidates to plan their travel. Additionally, admit cards will be available for download 3 to 4 days prior to the examination.


What to Bring to the Exam

Candidates must bring their admit card, two recent color photographs, and a valid photo ID to the exam center. Entry will be denied without these documents. Acceptable forms of ID include: Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport, School/College ID, Employer ID, or any government-issued photo ID.
