The Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) has announced a significant recruitment drive for 2025, offering a total of 7,297 job openings. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates ranging from 10th-grade passouts to postgraduates and B.Ed. holders, with the application deadline set for October 23, 2025.
This recruitment initiative encompasses both teaching and non-teaching roles, making it accessible to a wide range of applicants. The Government of India has confirmed that the recruitment will fill various positions, including Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs), Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs), principals, hostel wardens, staff nurses, accountants, lab attendants, and junior secretariat assistants.
Among the available positions, 225 are for principals, requiring candidates to hold a postgraduate degree along with a B.Ed. degree. Additionally, there are 1,460 openings for PGT teachers, which also necessitate a postgraduate degree and a B.Ed. in the relevant subject. The majority of positions, totaling 3,962, are designated for TGT teachers, who must possess a graduate degree and a B.Ed. qualification. Furthermore, 635 positions are available for hostel wardens, open to both men and women, with a graduate degree in any field being sufficient.
For non-teaching roles, there are 550 positions for female staff nurses, 228 for junior secretarial assistants, 61 for accountants, and 146 for lab attendants. Candidates interested in the lab attendant role must have either a 10th-grade degree with a diploma in lab technology or a 12th-grade degree in science. The secretarial assistant position requires at least a 12th-grade pass, while a B.Com degree is necessary for the accountant role.
The age limits vary by position: candidates can apply for principal roles up to the age of 50, while PGT applicants must be 40 or younger. TGTs and hostel wardens can apply until the age of 35, and the same age limit applies to female staff nurses. For positions like accountants, junior secretarial assistants, and lab attendants, candidates must be 30 years or younger. Age relaxation is available for reserved categories in accordance with government policies.
To apply, candidates should visit the official EMRS website at nests.tribal.gov.in. They need to click on 'New Registration' and provide their basic details to generate a user ID and password. After logging in, applicants must fill in additional information such as education, experience, and address. All necessary documents, including a scanned passport-sized photo and signature, should be uploaded. If there is an application fee for the desired position, it must be paid online. Finally, it is crucial to print the completed application form for future reference.
