DSSSB Announces Recruitment for 20 Positions



The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has released a recruitment notification for 20 vacancies, specifically for the roles of Chauffeur and Dispatch Rider-cum Process Server. The application window will be open from August 26 to September 24, 2025.


This recruitment initiative presents a significant opportunity for job seekers interested in driving roles within the government sector. The DSSSB is looking to fill 8 positions for Chauffeurs and 12 for Dispatch Rider-cum Process Servers.

Educational Requirements

Age Criteria

Applicants must be between 18 and 27 years old, with the age calculated as of January 1, 2025. There are provisions for age relaxation for candidates from reserved categories as per government regulations:



  • 5 years for SC/ST candidates

  • 3 years for OBC candidates

  • Additional concessions for women and disabled candidates


Application Fees

Candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 100. However, women, Divyang, SC, and ST candidates are exempt from any fees.


Selection Process

The selection will be based on a written examination, an endurance test, and a driving test. The written exam will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions, totaling 100 marks, with a duration of 90 minutes. Candidates should note that there will be negative marking for incorrect answers, with a deduction of one-fourth of a mark for each wrong response. Those who successfully pass the written test will advance to the endurance and driving tests, with final selections based on performance in these assessments.
