DSSSB Vacancy 2026: The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board has announced a significant recruitment drive, aiming to fill 1,979 vacancies across various roles. These positions include Junior Scientific Assistant, Trained Graduate Teacher (Computer Science), Special Educator, Technical Assistant, Fitter, Lift Operator, and Electrical Supervisor/Sub-Inspector.


Application Process

The online application process is set to begin on June 16. Interested candidates can apply through the official DSSSB website.


Eligibility Criteria:



  • Junior Scientific Assistant: A postgraduate degree (M.Sc.) in a relevant field (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, etc.) is required.


  • TGT (Computer Science): Candidates must have a BCA, a degree in Computer Science, or a B.Tech in CS/IT, or a DOEACC ‘A’ Level course certification.


  • Special Educator (Primary): Candidates should have completed Class 12 and hold a 2-year Diploma in Special Education (D.Ed) or an RCI-recognized course, along with CTET (Primary) qualification.


  • IT Assistant: Completion of Class 12 with a good typing speed (8000 KDPH) is necessary.


  • Electrical Supervisor: A 3-year Diploma or a degree in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience is required.


  • Fitter: An ITI certificate in the relevant trade (Fitter, Electrician, Wireman, etc.) is mandatory.


  • Lift Operator: An ITI certification or completion of a relevant technical course is needed, along with applicable experience.



Age Limit and Application Fee

Age Limit Criteria: The age limits vary by position. For most Group ‘C’ roles like JSA, Fitter, and Lift Operator, candidates must be between 18 and 27 years old. For Group ‘B’ positions such as Teacher and Technical Assistant, the upper age limit is 30 years. Specialized roles have specific age limits; for example, Fitter Grade-II has an age range of 20 to 32 years, while Lift Operator candidates must be between 18 and 37 years old.


Application Fee: Candidates must pay the application fee online before submitting their applications. The fee is ₹100 for General and OBC candidates (excluding those from outside Delhi). However, it is waived for female candidates, SC, ST, Persons with Disabilities, and Ex-servicemen.

  2. Click on "New Registration/Apply Online" on the homepage.


  3. Complete the registration form with your name, mobile number, email ID, and other basic details.


  4. Log in using the User ID and Password received after registration.


  5. Fill in your personal details, educational qualifications, and post preferences in the application form.


  6. Upload necessary documents, including your photograph, signature, and certificates.


  7. Pay the application fee (if applicable) online via SBI e-Pay.


  8. Review all information and click on "Final Submit."
