DRDO CEPTAM 11 Recruitment Update



The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has announced an extension for the online application process for the CEPTAM 11 recruitment. Candidates now have until January 11, 2026, to submit their applications, an extension from the previous deadline of January 1, 2026. Interested individuals can apply via the official DRDO website at drdo.gov.in. A total of 764 technical positions are available under the CEPTAM 2025 recruitment initiative, including 561 vacancies for the Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B) role. The number of openings in the Administrative and Allied (A&A) category is yet to be disclosed.


Educational Requirements:


To qualify for the Senior Technical Assistant-B position, applicants must hold a B.Sc. degree in a relevant engineering discipline. For the Technician-A role, candidates should have completed Class 10 or Matriculation and possess an ITI certificate in the appropriate trade. Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply, and candidates must be aged between 18 and 28 years as of January 1, 2026. Age relaxation will be provided for candidates from reserved categories as per government regulations.


Selection Procedure:


The selection will involve a written examination, followed by a trade or skill test. Those who pass these stages will undergo document verification and a medical examination. The final merit list will be published by DRDO after all selection phases are completed.
