- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university is required.
- Proficiency in the local language as specified by the participating RRB.

- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university is required.
- Preference for degrees in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, and related fields.
- Proficiency in the local language as specified by the participating RRB.
- Desirable: Basic computer skills.
