The shortlisted candidates engaged in group discussions from October 13 to 15, 2025, which have now concluded successfully. According to Prof. Ranjan Kumar Tripathi, the Dean of Student Welfare, the university will soon announce the final list of selected interns, assuring students that they will not have to wait long for the results.


Internship Opportunities Across University Offices

Interns selected for VCIS 2025-26 will be placed in over 55 different offices within Delhi University. This experience will provide students with a firsthand understanding of the university's administrative and academic operations.


Program Goals and Structure

Launched in the 2022-23 academic session, the VCIS aims to connect theoretical knowledge with practical experience. It offers undergraduates and postgraduates a comprehensive view of university and governmental functions.


Internship Categories Offered

The VCIS provides two types of internships:



  1. Part-Time Internship (6 months during the academic session)



    • Hours: 8-10 hours weekly

    • Stipend: ₹5,775 monthly



  2. Full-Time Summer Internship (2 months)



    • Hours: 20 hours weekly

    • Stipend: ₹11,000 monthly




This arrangement allows students to select an internship that aligns with their academic commitments and career aspirations.
