Delhi University (DU) has restarted its UG admission process for 2025. Students can now enroll in undergraduate courses based on their 12th-grade marks. The registration process is currently open, allowing new applicants to sign up until 11:59 PM on September 19th. Those who have already registered do not need to reapply.


On-the-Spot Mop-Up Admission Round

DU plans to fill remaining UG seats through an on-the-spot mop-up admission round conducted in physical mode. This allows students to gain admission without needing a CUET score.


Details on Vacant Seats: Information regarding available seats will be posted on DU's official website. Students can check for vacancies by logging into their dashboard after registration and applying through the On-the-Spot Mop-Up tab.


Registration Process and Eligibility

Who Can Register? Students wishing to participate in the On-the-Spot Mop-Up admission round must register between September 17th and September 19th, by 11:59 PM. Only those who have not registered on the CSAS (UG)-2025 portal can apply, with a registration fee of ₹1,000.


Students who have already registered can edit their profiles but do not need to register again. It is crucial for students to accurately enter their academic details, as only those who have completed 12th grade will be eligible for admission.


Admission Timeline

Commencement of Admission Process: The admission process for the on-the-spot mop-up round is expected to start on September 23rd. DU will notify students via email about their admission time and date based on seat availability and eligibility.


Once a college or course is assigned, students cannot request seat upgrades or refunds. Fees must be paid immediately upon admission, and students are advised to bring the necessary fees with them.
