Delhi University Announces Recruitment for 56 Teaching Positions

Delhi University has issued a recruitment notification for 56 positions, including both Professor and Associate Professor roles. The application process will commence on October 7, 2025, and interested candidates can apply online through the university's official website.

The recruitment drive encompasses 35 Associate Professor roles and 21 Professor roles, with a total of 56 positions available for selection.

To qualify for the Professor position, applicants must possess a PhD in the relevant field, along with a minimum of 55% marks in their Master's degree. Additionally, candidates should have at least 10 years of teaching or research experience, along with a minimum of 10 research publications and 120 research points.

For the Associate Professor role, candidates are required to hold a PhD in a relevant discipline, with at least 55% marks in their Master's degree. They must also have a minimum of 8 years of teaching or research experience, along with at least 7 research publications and 75 research points as per UGC guidelines.

Selection will be based on an interview process, and successful candidates will be offered a competitive salary.

The salary structure is as follows: ₹2,000 for General category candidates, ₹1,500 for OBC and EWS candidates, ₹1,000 for SC/ST candidates, and ₹500 for PwBD candidates.
