SSC Announces Results for Delhi Police Head Constable Recruitment

Results Overview: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published the results for the Computer-Based Examination (CBE) related to the recruitment of Head Constables (Assistant Wireless Operator/Tele-Printer Operator) in the Delhi Police for the year 2025. More than 6,500 candidates have been shortlisted for the subsequent phases, which include the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT), Document Verification, and Trade Test. The results can be accessed in PDF format below.

**Examination Timeline**
This computer-based test was conducted by the SSC at various centers across the country from January 15 to January 22, 2026. To address the differences in difficulty levels across shifts, the Commission applied a normalization process to calculate the final scores and prepare the merit list.

**Candidates Advancing to Next Stages**
The SSC has released five distinct lists, which include female candidates, male candidates, Ex-Servicemen (ESM), and departmental candidates. A total of 6,543 candidates have qualified for the next recruitment stages:

  • 2,033 candidates from the Female Open Category, with a UR cutoff of 70.57558 and an EWS cutoff of 70.35837.

  • 3,376 candidates from the Male Open Category, where the UR cutoff was 79.21073 and the OBC cutoff was 77.42887.

  • 501 candidates from the Male ESM Category.

  • 213 candidates from the Female Departmental Category and 420 from the Male Departmental Category.

The SSC clarified that candidates from reserved categories who met the UR cutoff and age limit have been counted in their original categories.

Adjustments to Qualifying Marks
Initially, the minimum qualifying marks were set at 40% for General and EWS categories, 35% for SC, ST, and OBC categories, and 30% for ESM candidates. Due to a low number of selections in some categories, the SSC relaxed the cutoff, lowering the minimum qualifying marks to 30% for EWS candidates and 20% for SC, ST, OBC, and ESM candidates.

Measures Against Irregularities
The Commission has taken strict measures against candidates involved in examination irregularities. An analysis post-examination revealed that 60 candidates were implicated in malpractice, and their results are currently on hold. They will be given a chance to explain their situation. Additionally, one candidate's result has been withheld due to suspicious behavior, and eight others have been barred for various infractions.

Next Steps for Candidates
Qualified candidates will now proceed to the Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT), Document Verification, and Trade Test, which will be organized by the Delhi Police. Details regarding test dates and admit cards will be announced soon on the official website.

Moreover, candidates with an NCC certificate or a degree/diploma from the Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) will receive bonus marks in the final results, provided they submit the necessary documents during the PE&MT.

The SSC will soon upload the final answer keys, question papers, and individual marks on its website. Candidates are encouraged to regularly check the official websites of the Delhi Police and the SSC for updates.
