Application Process for Delhi Police and CAPF Sub-Inspector Positions



The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has initiated the online application process for the positions of Sub-Inspector (SI) in the Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). A total of 3,073 vacancies are available through this recruitment initiative. Interested applicants can submit their applications via the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in. The application deadline is set for October 16, 2025, while the last date for fee submission is October 17, 2025.


The online application period commenced on September 26, 2025. Candidates will have the chance to make corrections to their applications from October 24 to 26. The computer-based examination is scheduled to take place in November or December 2025.


Eligibility criteria for the SSC CPO recruitment require candidates to possess a bachelor's degree in any field. For the Delhi Police SI role, candidates must also hold a valid driving license. The age requirement is between 20 and 25 years as of August 1, 2025, with age relaxations applicable for candidates from reserved categories.


Details of Recruitment Positions

The recruitment drive includes 142 male and 70 female SI positions for the Delhi Police, along with 2,651 male and 210 female positions for CAPF Sub-Inspector (GD).


Application Fee Structure

Candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹100. However, SC and ST candidates are exempt from this fee.

The SSC CPO recruitment examination will be conducted in a computer-based format.
