NMMSS Scholarship 2026: The government of Delhi is providing a scholarship aimed at assisting talented students who have completed Class 7. Eligibility Criteria

Income Limit:
To qualify, a family's annual income must be below ₹3.5 lakh. Only students attending Delhi government schools, government-aided institutions, and local body schools are eligible to take part in the examination.


Candidates must have successfully completed Class 7 during the 2025-26 academic year.
Students from General and OBC categories need to achieve a minimum of 55% in Class 7, while SC, ST, and PH (Physically Handicapped) students must secure at least 50%.
The family income must not exceed ₹3.5 lakh from all sources, and a valid income certificate issued by an SDM or Tehsildar is required at the time of application.


Scholarship Benefits

Monthly Financial Support:
Selected candidates will receive ₹1,000 monthly under the scholarship, totaling ₹12,000 annually, to support their education from Class 9 to Class 12. This financial aid can continue until Class 12, provided the student adheres to the scheme's requirements. Students chosen in Delhi will be forwarded to the Ministry of Education under the state quota.


Examination Details

Test Structure:
The examination will consist of two sections: the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), each containing 90 questions worth 90 marks. There will be no negative marking. General and OBC category students must score at least 40% in both sections, while SC, ST, and PH category students need a minimum of 32%.
