Delhi Government Teacher Recruitment: The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has initiated the application process for government teaching positions. This is an excellent opportunity for those aspiring to become teachers in Delhi's government schools. Interested candidates can apply online.


There are various vacancies available across different subjects, with a total of 5,346 positions including Mathematics, English, SST, Hindi, Sanskrit, and Urdu.


Eligibility Criteria for Other Teaching Positions

The application process commenced on October 9 and will close on November 7, 2025. Selection will be based on a single-stage examination. Candidates must possess a degree or graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks in the relevant subject. Additionally, two years of experience in the subject applied for is required. A B.Ed. degree and CTET certification are also mandatory. However, candidates applying for the Drawing subject are exempt from the B.Ed. and CTET requirements. Qualifications for Drawing Teachers

Candidates must hold a five-year diploma in Drawing/Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Arts from a recognized university/institution. A graduate degree in Drawing and Painting/Fine Arts is also necessary.


Age Limit

The age limit should not exceed 30 years. There is a relaxation of five years for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, and three years for Other Backward Classes.


Salary and Selection Process

The salary for these positions will range from ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400 per month at Level 7. The examination will consist of a single stage (Tier 1) with negative marking; 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Following the written exam, a skill test may be conducted based on the position applied for.
