An Inspiring Tale of Perseverance


Inspiring Journey: Success does not come overnight. It is the result of years of hard work, patience, and the determination to rise after every fall. The story of Deepika Patidar, who secured the top rank in MPPSC, teaches us that failure is not the end but an opportunity for improvement.


Emerging from a small village in the Dewas district of Madhya Pradesh, her path to becoming a Deputy Collector was fraught with challenges. Despite facing numerous setbacks, giving up was never an option for her. Today, her journey serves as an inspiration for thousands of aspirants.


From Village School to Big Dreams

In an interview, Deepika shared that she completed her schooling up to the 10th grade at a government school in her village. She then pursued her 11th and 12th grades at a boarding school in Rau. With aspirations of soaring high, she aimed to make her family proud.


The Journey Begins in 2016

Deepika graduated with a BSc in Computer Science from Holkar Science College in Indore. During this time, she decided to prepare for the MPPSC exams. To enhance her understanding of subjects, she also pursued an MA in History. Her civil service journey commenced in 2016.


Four Attempts and Unyielding Spirit

In her first attempt in 2017, she did not even clear the prelims. However, from 2018 onwards, she reached the interview stage for four consecutive years but did not find her name on the final list. Despite feeling disheartened at times, her determination to succeed pushed her to try once more.


Learning from Mistakes and Changing Strategies

Upon analyzing her failures, Deepika realized that her shortcomings lay in the strategy for the mains and mock interviews. She focused more on answer writing and personal development, which restored her confidence. Ultimately, she achieved the top rank in the MPPSC 2022 examination. She believes that self-motivation is the key to success, and the unwavering support from her parents has been the foundation of her achievements.
