CSIR-NCL Multi-Tasking Staff Recruitment Notification



The CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory (NCL) has announced openings for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS). Interested applicants can submit their applications through the official CSIR-NCL website starting from October 5, with the final date for application submission being November 4, 2026. It is essential for candidates to check the eligibility requirements prior to applying.


Eligibility Criteria


The age of candidates will be calculated as of November 4, 2026. The upper age limit is 25 years, with provisions for age relaxation for candidates from reserved categories. Applicants must have completed either Class 10 or Class 12 from a recognized educational institution.


Salary Details


Selected candidates for the MTS positions will earn a monthly salary between ₹18,000 and ₹56,900.


Application Fee


It is mandatory to pay the registration fee for application acceptance. The fee is ₹500 for candidates in the unreserved category. However, female candidates and those belonging to SC, ST, and PwD (Persons with Disabilities) categories are exempt from this fee.


Selection Procedure


The selection process will involve a written examination comprising 150 multiple-choice questions that will assess General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and English proficiency. The exam duration will be two hours, with a penalty of one mark for each incorrect answer. Candidates who pass the written test will proceed to the document verification stage.
