CSIR-CIMFR Technician Recruitment 2026: The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research - Central Institute of Mining and Fuel Research (CSIR-CIMFR) in Dhanbad has announced openings for Technician-1 positions across various trades. Candidates who have completed Class 10 and possess an ITI qualification are invited to apply. The selected individuals can earn a salary of up to around ₹63,000.

Eligibility Criteria

**Who Can Apply?**


Route 1 (ITI Qualification): Candidates must have completed Class 10 with Science subjects, achieving at least 55% marks. An ITI certificate or a National/State Trade Certificate in the relevant trade from a recognized institution is also required.


Route 2 (Apprenticeship Experience): Applicants should have passed Class 10 (with Science subjects and 55% marks) and possess a minimum of 2 years of full-time apprenticeship experience in the relevant trade from a recognized institution.


Route 3 (Work Experience): Similar to the previous routes, candidates must have completed Class 10 with Science subjects and a minimum of 55% marks. Additionally, at least 3 years of work experience in the relevant trade within the Government of India, a State Government, a PSU, or an Autonomous Body is necessary.


Salary Details

**What is the Salary?**


CSIR-CIMFR is recruiting for 30 Technician-1 positions. The salary range for selected candidates will be between ₹19,900 and ₹63,200 (Pay Level-2), with an average monthly salary of approximately ₹37,000. These positions will be based in various centers, including Dhanbad, Bilaspur, Nagpur, Ranchi, Roorkee, and Raniganj.
