This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 9,175 positions, with 9,096 allocated for male applicants and 79 for female applicants.

Eligibility Requirements

Educational Background: Candidates must have completed their 10th grade from a recognized educational institution. Additionally, an ITI certificate or relevant skills in the specific trade is required. For those applying for Driver roles, a Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving license is essential. Motor Mechanic applicants must have completed the 10th grade and hold either a two-year ITI certificate or a three-year apprenticeship in the relevant field, along with one year of practical experience.

Age Criteria: The age limit for Constable (Driver) applicants is set between 21 and 27 years. For other Constable roles—including Motor Mechanic, Cobbler, Carpenter, Tailor, Brass Band, Pipe Band, Gardener, Bugler, Painter, Cook, Barber-cum-Hairdresser, Washerman (both Male and Female), Water Carrier, Sweeper, Mason, Plumber, and Electrician—the age range is 18 to 23 years. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates from reserved categories as per government guidelines.

Selection Process Overview

The recruitment process for CRPF Constables will begin with a Computer-Based Test (CBT). Candidates who pass this initial test will then proceed to the Physical Standard Test (PST) and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Following these assessments, candidates will undergo a Trade Test, Document Verification, and a Medical Examination. The physical standards will be evaluated according to the established norms. The official notification states: "Final results will be announced by the CRPF based on candidates' performance in the Computer-Based Examination, provided they meet the requirements of the PET, PST, Trade/Skill Test, Document Verification, Medical Test, and other conditions outlined in the recruitment notice."

Salary Details

Selected candidates for the CRPF Constable (Technical and Tradesman) positions will receive a salary ranging from ₹21,700 to ₹69,100, classified under Pay Level-3.
