CSL Vacancy 2026: Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) has released a notification for the recruitment of 139 Graduate and Technician (Diploma) Apprentices. The online application process will begin on August 12, 2026, and interested candidates can submit their applications until September 1, 2026.

Eligibility for this recruitment is limited to residents of Kerala. Candidates must have completed their educational qualifications in the years 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026. Those who graduated before or after these years will not be considered.

Eligibility Criteria:

Graduate Apprentice: Applicants should hold a BE/B. Tech degree in the relevant engineering or technology field from a recognized university. If grades are provided in CGPA/OGPA/CPI, they will be converted to a percentage as per university guidelines.

Technician (Diploma) Apprentice: Candidates must possess a diploma in the relevant engineering branch. For the Commercial Practice position, a diploma in Commercial Practice is required. The diploma must be from an accredited institution. If an applicant has an equivalent qualification, they must provide an equivalence certificate from the appropriate authority; applications lacking this will be rejected.

Age and Additional Requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 years old as of September 1, 2026. Those who have previously participated in any apprenticeship training in government, public sector, or private organizations are not eligible to apply.

Selection Process:
Merit-Based Selection: Only Kerala residents will be considered for recruitment. Selection will be determined by the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. In case of a tie, preference will be given to the candidate with earlier graduation. If a tie persists, the older candidate will be favored.

Document Verification: Candidates selected for the next stage must present original documents along with self-attested copies for age, educational qualifications, mark sheets, caste certificates, and disability certificates (if applicable). Failure to provide original documents may lead to application cancellation.

Final Selection: Candidates who pass document verification will be selected based on merit and reservation policies. Selected individuals must also meet medical fitness standards before starting their training.
