In early 2026, the Central Bank of India announced the recruitment for two significant positions. Eligible and experienced candidates are invited to apply for the roles of Marketing Officer and Foreign Exchange Officer, with a total of 350 vacancies available. Out of these, 300 positions are designated for Marketing Officers, while 50 are for Foreign Exchange Officers. Eligibility Criteria
Foreign Exchange Officer (Scale-III):
Candidates must possess a full-time graduation degree from a recognized institution. Preference will be given to those with CFA, CA, or MBA qualifications. Additionally, a certificate in Foreign Exchange Operations from the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance is required, along with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
Marketing Officer (Scale-I):
Applicants should hold an MBA, PGDBM, or a postgraduate degree in Business Management, with at least two years of experience. Selection for both roles will be based on educational qualifications and professional experience.
Exam Pattern
The recruitment process includes an online examination conducted by the bank. This exam will consist entirely of objective questions, totaling 100 questions worth 100 marks, with a duration of 60 minutes.
The question paper will include 70 questions related to the specific position and 30 questions covering Banking Knowledge, Current Affairs, and General Knowledge. Notably, there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
Selection Process
Candidates who pass the written examination will be invited for further evaluation, which may include interviews or additional stages. The bank will provide detailed information about these stages in due course. The final selection will depend on the candidates' performance in the exam, their experience, and the interview.
