The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced an extension for the application deadline for government job vacancies, now set for December 27, 2025, instead of the earlier date of December 22. This extension offers a chance for candidates who faced challenges in submitting their applications on time. A total of 124 positions are available across various sectors, including administrative, academic, and financial services.
Available Positions Under CBSE Recruitment 2025
The recruitment drive includes a variety of roles categorized into different groups, all aimed at supporting CBSE's administrative and academic functions.
Group A: Assistant Secretary, Assistant Professor, Assistant Director (Academics/Training/Skill Education), Accounts Officer.
Group B: Superintendent, Junior Translation Officer.
Group C: Junior Accountant, Junior Assistant.
Selection Process Overview
The selection for these positions will occur in two phases: Tier-1 and Tier-2. Tier-1 will involve a written exam assessing general awareness, reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and relevant subject knowledge. Tier-2 will consist of a skill test, which may include typing or computer skills assessments for roles like Superintendent and Junior Assistant. A merit list will be generated based on candidates' performances in both the written and skill tests, followed by document verification.
Application Guidelines
Candidates interested in applying can submit applications for multiple positions, but must complete a separate application for each role. The marks obtained in the Tier-1 exam will be applicable for all positions applied for.
