CBSE DRQ 2026 Vacancy: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the Direct Recruitment Quota Examination 2026 (DRQ 2026) on December 2, 2025. This recruitment initiative aims to fill a total of 124 positions across Groups A, B, and C, including roles such as Assistant Secretary, Assistant Professor, Accounts Officer, Superintendent, Junior Translation Officer, Junior Accountant, and Junior Assistant. Candidates interested in applying can do so online via the official CBSE website from December 2, 2025, until December 22, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Required for Application
A bachelor's degree in any field is necessary for the Assistant Secretary role, while candidates for the Assistant Professor position must hold a master's degree with at least 55% marks.
An Accounting Officer must possess a bachelor's degree in commerce, economics, or finance, or hold a CA/ICWA/MBA qualification.
For the Superintendent role, a bachelor's degree along with computer proficiency is required.
A master's degree in Hindi or English, along with a translation diploma or relevant experience, is needed for the Junior Translation Officer position.
For the Junior Accountant role, candidates should have completed 12th grade with accountancy or commerce knowledge and typing skills.
Lastly, the Junior Assistant position requires a 12th-grade pass and typing proficiency.
Only applicants meeting these educational qualifications are eligible to apply for the DRQ 2026 recruitment.


Age Limit for Applicants

Candidates must adhere to the specified maximum age limits. For the Assistant Secretary and Accounts Officer roles, the upper age limit is 35 years. The maximum age for Assistant Professor, Superintendent, and Junior Translation Officer is set at 30 years, while Junior Accountant and Junior Assistant applicants must be no older than 27 years.
