BSSC Recruitment 2025: Apply for Stenographer and Steno Typist Positions

BSSC Recruitment Notification Released

The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has announced a recruitment drive for Stenographer and Steno Typist Grade-III roles, with a total of 432 vacancies available.

Eligible candidates can submit their applications online starting from September 25, 2025, until November 3, 2025. Detailed instructions and the application process can be found on the official BSSC website, bssc.bihar.gov.in.

Applicants must be between 18 and 37 years old as of August 1, 2025. Age relaxation policies will apply to candidates from reserved categories in accordance with government guidelines.

A bachelor's degree is required for those applying for the Stenographer and Steno Typist positions, along with proficiency in typing and computer skills being advantageous. Recruitment will take place across various state departments.

As per the notification, an application fee of ₹100 is mandatory for all applicants, which can be paid online.

Selection will be based on a written examination covering general studies, reasoning, and mental ability.
