The Border Security Force (BSF) is presenting a remarkable chance for athletes who have excelled in their sports. Out of these, 540 positions will be filled through direct recruitment under the sports quota.
Application Process and Deadline
The BSF has released an official notification indicating that selected candidates will be appointed on a temporary basis. The application procedure is fully online, enabling candidates to complete their forms from home. The last date for submission is January 15th, so interested individuals should ensure their applications are submitted before this deadline. Eligibility Criteria
Applicants for these positions must have completed at least the 10th grade from a recognized educational board. Additionally, candidates should have participated in or won medals at the Olympics, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, World Championships, or national and junior national competitions. The BSF has specified that if an athlete has multiple medals from the same event, only the highest-ranking medal will be considered for evaluation.
Age Limit and Salary Structure
Applicants must be aged between 18 and 23 years as of August 1, 2025. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates from reserved categories in accordance with Central Government regulations. Selected individuals will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100, along with additional allowances.
Selection Process
The selection process will include a physical test, sports skill assessment, document verification, and a medical examination. Specific physical standards, including minimum height requirements, have been established for both male and female candidates. The BSF has also provided guidelines regarding tattoos.
