The Border Security Force (BSF) has announced an exciting recruitment opportunity for the position of Constable (General Duty) under the sports quota. The application window will open on October 16, 2025, and will remain active until November 4, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

The age requirements stipulate that applicants must be between 18 and 23 years old as of August 1, 2025. Age relaxation will be applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government guidelines.


Physical fitness standards are also essential. Male candidates should have a minimum height of 170 cm, while female candidates must be at least 157 cm tall. Additionally, male candidates must have a chest measurement of 80 cm without expansion and 85 cm with expansion.


Selection Process

The selection of candidates will occur in multiple phases. Initially, athletes will be shortlisted based on their sports performance and qualifications. Those selected will then undergo document verification, a Physical Standard Test (PST), and a Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Final selection will be contingent upon successfully passing all these stages.


Application Fee

The application fee for this recruitment has been set at ₹159 for candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories. However, SC, ST, and female candidates can apply free of charge.
