BSF Constable GD Recruitment Announcement


BSF Constable GD Recruitment: The Border Security Force (BSF) has commenced the application process for the recruitment of Constables (General Duty) in Group C starting from October 16, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official BSF website at rectt.bsf.gov.in. A total of 391 positions are available as per the official notification. This recruitment is being conducted on a temporary basis, providing a great opportunity for youth aspiring to join the armed forces and serve the nation.


Eligibility Criteria for Applicants

10th Pass Candidates Can Apply


Candidates must possess a matriculation certificate (10th grade) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board. Only those who have participated in a recognized sports competition or won a medal in the last two years (prior to the application deadline) are eligible to apply, as specified in the official notification. The minimum age limit for applicants is set at 18 years, while the maximum age limit is 23 years. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates from reserved categories as per government regulations.


Application Fee Details

Male candidates from the general (unreserved) and other backward classes (OBC) applying under the sports quota are required to pay an application fee of ₹159. Female candidates and those belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) are exempt from the fee. Payment of the application fee must be made online, and applications received through any other payment method will be immediately rejected. The BSF aims to fill 391 vacancies through this recruitment drive.
