What Should You Wear for the Interview?

According to Rajesh Kumar Singh, formal wear is not a requirement. He stated, "There is no specific dress code. While formal attire is not obligatory, candidates should wear decent clothing that reflects professionalism. It is essential that clothes are clean and well-pressed. A coat, trousers, or tie are not mandatory; a simple shirt and trousers are acceptable as well."

Singh also emphasized the importance of personal grooming. If candidates have facial hair, it should be neatly trimmed. Women are encouraged to wear a sari or a suit, ensuring they present themselves well. The BPSC recognizes that many candidates may come from rural areas where formal attire may not be accessible.
