In a recent statement, Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari shared insights regarding the teacher recruitment initiative. Initially, around 46,000 teaching positions were anticipated to be filled through TRE-4. However, the current recruitment will focus on approximately 20,000 positions. When pressed for the exact number of vacancies, the Minister urged candidates to remain patient for the official figures, assuring that a sufficient number of vacancies will be made available to avoid disappointment for eligible applicants.


Annual Recruitment Strategy for Teachers

The Bihar government has introduced a long-term strategy aimed at hiring 100,000 teachers over the next five years. This plan includes the recruitment of about 20,000 teachers each year. This approach is designed to benefit both new graduates and those who have previously applied but were not selected.
