The Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) has announced an opening for 191 Pump Operator roles within the Public Health Engineering Department. Interested individuals can submit their applications until January 12, 2026.

Applicants must have completed their 10th grade and hold a certificate in Mechanic or Fitter trade from a recognized ITI institution. Qualifications obtained through apprenticeship will not be accepted.
The age criteria for applicants will adhere to BTSC regulations, with age relaxation provided for reserved categories as per government guidelines. The application fee is set at Rs. 100 for all candidates, payable via debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
Selection will be based on a merit list created from academic qualifications, document verification, and a medical examination. Successful candidates will receive a salary at Level-2 under the 7th Pay Commission, along with additional government allowances.
