Bihar Technical Public Service Commission (BTSC) Announces New Application Period
The Bihar Technical Public Service Commission (BTSC) has reopened the application window for the Pump Operator roles. Individuals who missed the initial application deadline now have the opportunity to register online via the official BTSC website. The application process for 191 Pump Operator positions will commence on January 31 and will remain open until February 8.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Pump Operator roles, applicants must have completed their Class 10th education from a recognized institution in India. Additionally, candidates should hold an ITI certificate in either the Machinist or Fitter trades.
Age eligibility will be determined as of August 1, 2025. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. The upper age limits are set at 37 years for general candidates, 40 years for unreserved women and OBC candidates, and 42 years for SC and ST candidates.
Application Fee
All applicants are required to pay a registration fee. The fee is set at Rs. 100 for all categories.
Examination Format
Selection will be based on a written examination. This exam will feature 100 questions, totaling 100 marks, and will last for two hours. Note that there will be negative marking; each correct answer earns one mark, while each incorrect answer results in a deduction of one-fourth of a mark.
