Following the collection of vacancy details from the remaining districts in Bihar, the process to forward this information to the BPSC is in progress. On December 31, the Director of Secondary Education, Sajjan R., instructed all District Education Officers to submit the roster register to the District Program Officer and the roster expert at the Education Department's office by January 5. In the last four days, the Education Department has received vacancy information from several districts, including Siwan, Madhepura, Karithar, Araria, and Sheikhpura.

In November 2025, the Nitish Kumar administration initiated measures to honor its commitment to provide jobs for 1 crore youth in Bihar over the next five years. This initiative includes expediting recruitment processes to ensure timely filling of vacant positions. A thorough review and coordination effort is currently underway across all departments, with a directive for each to report existing vacancies to the General Administration Department by December 31.
