Important Update for Bihar STET Candidates: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released revised application dates for the Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET). Candidates can now submit their online applications starting from September 19, 2025, through the official BSEB websites, secondary.biharboardonline.com or bsebstet.org. The final date for application submission is September 29, 2025.


Application Period for Bihar STET

The BSEB has communicated these new application dates via an official notice. It states, "As per Notification No. PR 218/2025, candidates intending to take the STET 2025 are informed that the online application window will be open from September 19 to September 27, 2025." Previously, the application period was set from September 11 to September 19, 2025, but was delayed due to technical issues. Candidates now have a 10-day window to apply online. The examination is scheduled to take place between October 4 and October 25, with results expected in November. Following the STET, applications for BPSC TRE 4.0 recruitment will commence.


Eligibility Criteria for Bihar STET

The Bihar STET consists of two papers: Paper 1 for secondary level teachers and Paper 2 for higher secondary level teachers. To qualify for Paper 1, candidates must possess a bachelor's degree along with a B.Ed. Those holding a B.Ed. and a postgraduate degree are also eligible. Certain subjects may allow exemptions from the B.Ed. requirement. For Paper 2, candidates need to have at least 50% marks in their master's degree along with a B.Ed./B.A./B.Ed. degree.   2. Begin with "New Registration" to create a user ID and password using your basic information.

  4. Upload a recent color photograph against a white background.


  5. Pay the examination fee by selecting the "Online Payment" option.


  6. Upload necessary documents such as your 10th, 12th, graduation, post-graduation, or B.Ed. degree.


  7. Review the application form and save all details.


  8. Finally, print a copy of the completed form.
