Bihar STET 2025: For those aspiring to teach in Bihar, important updates have been released. The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has rescheduled the STET 2025 exam to commence on October 14, 2025, moving from the earlier date of October 12. This examination will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT), with admit cards available for download starting October 11, 2025. The application deadline is set for October 5, 2025. Successful candidates will receive a certificate valid for a lifetime, which will facilitate future recruitment by the BPSC for teaching positions.
Exam Schedule and Details
STET 2025 Exam Schedule:
BSEB has officially updated the STET 2025 exam dates. The examination will take place from October 14 to October 31, 2025. Although the complete schedule is yet to be released, the admit cards will reflect the updated exam timings, centers, and other essential information. Candidates can access their admit cards on the official website starting October 11, 2025, using their user ID and password. Results are expected to be announced by November 16, 2025.

Those who have not yet submitted their applications for STET must act quickly, as the last date is October 5, 2025. Applications are exclusively accepted online at bsebstet.org. Candidates who pass the examination will be eligible for over 26,000 vacancies under BPSC TRE 4, and any unfilled positions will be carried over to TRE 5, as stated by Education Minister Sunil Kumar.

Subjects for STET:
The STET will consist of two papers, each targeting different educational levels:
Paper 1 (Secondary): Subjects include Hindi, Social Science, Sanskrit, Urdu, Bengali, Maithili, Arabic, Persian, Bhojpuri, English, Mathematics, Science, Physical Education, Music, Fine Arts, and Dance, aimed at teachers for grades 6 to 8.
Paper 2 (Higher Secondary): Subjects include Hindi, Urdu, English, Sanskrit, Maithili, Arabic, Persian, Bengali, Bhojpuri, Magahi, Pali, Prakrit, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Politics, Sociology, Geography, Economics, Psychology, Home Science, Commerce, Computer Science, Agriculture, and Music, intended for classes 9 to 12.
